1) What does Shiok Kitchen do?
Shiok Kitchen strive to introduce Authentic Singaporean Home cooking here to the bay area.
2) What got you started in this business?
Business started by Rosalind Tan and her daughter Maggie Lim 15 years ago when they could not find restaurants that serve our kind of food around the bay area.
3) What has been your biggest challenge and greatest achievement?
Biggest challenge has been to educate the general public about Singaporean food, greatest achievement have been to be regarded as a place for Singaporean can go to get a taste of home.
4) Do you have any advice for entrepreneurs to be?
Always trying to do better and always solicit opinion from customers to improve their dining experience.
5) What made you decide to support the Singapore Community Day?
Singapore is our home and supporting Singapore Community Day is a way to encourage the community to get together and share in our unique heritage.
